a five-piece indie-pop group from basel, switzerland doesn't sound like that much of a big deal. but the unique sound that jonas, nicolas, tumasch and steve have crafted over the past three years of touring definitely is. their range covers expansive wall-of-sound rock and folksy guitar sounds, with songs that drive the audience from one emotional state to another, combined with jonas' vocals - his style has been favourably compared to morissey's - there is a stark contrast with the band's typical swiss reserved onstage demeanor. this only serves to emphasise their music and that's the thing that matters most.
